The Monday meeting that replaced five others
One forty-five-minute meeting, the same agenda every week, and a rule about what may not be discussed in it.

Partner, operations

Tom ran factories for twenty years before co-founding Lodestar. He leads our manufacturing work and most of our operations reviews.
Tom started on the shop floor of a castings business in Milwaukee and ran his first factory at thirty-one. Before Lodestar he was operations director of a precision engineering group with four sites.
Tom spends the first week of every review on the floor, not in the office. He follows orders from the first phone call to the packing slip, and he keeps a notebook of every place an order waits.
He led our work with Ostrander Precision and Kettle River Distribution.
